A once grand reception room is now a glamorous bedroom suite, with the formality softened this is the epitome of Georgian architecture, elegance and generous proportions. It is a masterstroke and our most romantic suite.
A white room with traces of blue only giving way to a shot of red satin on a wonderfully theatrical chair, this room is both inspiring and elevating! With floor to ceiling windows in triplicate, all dressed with generous silks that reveal, when tied back, the delicate iron lace like balustrade of the balcony, this is a case of love at first sight.
The King size bed claims the centre of the room and is dressed with 500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, silk like on the skin and a sumptuous feather and down quilt. The soft blue velvet headboard reaching the picture rail completes this ensemble.
With so many interesting and beautiful details it’s difficult to list them but a feature in this room is the beautiful bespoke Morgan Ashram wool rug based on the reverse side of a piece of mid-Georgian embroidery, echoing all the tones and mood of the room and its ‘cool’ Northern light.
